We got back from Hawaii last night and had an incredible time!
The trip started a little rough with Jesse getting sick from all the sickos on the airplane and feeling bed ridden for the first day. However, with 24-hour nursing care from yours truly (and tylenol and cough medicine) he made a turn around :) Both Jesse and I were looking for total relaxation away from our busy work schedules, so we did just that. Without the pressure to travel all over the island and visit every tourist site, we were able to soak in the sun and enjoy quality time together in the most relaxing way possible.
Here's a pic of our beautiful hotel which were blessed to win a stay at! It was at the center of downtown Waikiki and located right on the beach.
First time out since being sick...
maybe still feeling a little off :)

After getting a little bit too much sun our first day on the beach,
we decided to hike up Diamond Head.
Diamond Head is a crater about 2-3 miles away from our hotel.
Here's a view of Diamond Head from our hotel and the view of Waikiki
from the top of Diamond Head during our hike.
We decided to go out with a bang by taking a sunset cruise on a catamaran, aka a Booze Cruise :) It was a perfect night to sail around and enjoy a watered down Mai Tai or two. As we were sailing out to sea, we snapped a shot of all the surfers wating for the next wave. Jesse joined them on our last day and was able to catch a few waves.
