One Amazing Year!

Tomorrow marks our One Year Anniversary. Yeah for us!! It's been the easiest, funnest (I know it's not a word), most amazing year we could have hoped for. Yes, we may have dove into real life a bit fast... graduating college, getting married and starting our careers in the same month, but we wouldn't have done it any other way. To celebrate, Jesse and I decided to enjoy a weekend in Estes Park. It was absolutely beautiful and we packed it full of some of our favorite activities.

Once Jesse got off work on Friday, we packed our car with our bikes and headed up to the mountains. We started the day off right by biking around Estes Park Lake.

After our bike ride we decided to be kids again and rode some go-karts follow by some mini-golf.

I don't know why I look like a pirate...

(No individuals were harmed during this stroke)

We ended our time in Estes Park with a great hike up to Gem Lake. It was short, but somewhat difficult at time with a beautiful lake (more of a pond) at the end.

Showing off my new Camelback....So cool!

We're home now and the work week starts tomorrow, but I can't stop thinking about the amazing year we've spent together as "newlyweds" and how blessed we are to have each other. Tomorrow starts a new year as an old married couple and we can't wait!

BLT graduated!

BLT, a.k.a. Becka Leigh Trouble, a.k.a Beck the G graduated from college!
Becka received her degree with a major in Chinese and a minor in education.
We were so happy to spend the day celebrating Becka's hard work with our family.
Abby flew out to surprise Becka and made the family nearly complete
(we were just missing Abby's husband Tim who we missed greatly).

Here are a few pictures from the day :)

Haha, she was so cute walking up and bowing as she accepted her diploma. I love my twin so much :)

After Becka's speedy graduation (no kidding, it was 19minutes long!)
We headed to pearl street, where Becka works,
to visit her Starbucks store and then to a delicious lunch.
Here are all the ladies together.

Now that it's summer time, Jesse and I are enjoying one of our favorite warm weather activites...camping! We drove up to the Crags campground, which is behind Pikes Peak, and enjoyed to quality time outdoors!

We enjoyed hiking around the campground before we set up our tent.

I'll add these last two pictures for Jesse's pleasure. I was showing him how to protect himself in the event of a bear attack. I think he learned a lot :) He thought it was hilarious that he caught it on camera.

And our campsite! We were right next to the stream and loved our little area. Here's my handsome hubby making us some dinner while enjoying a little jerky. I love him so much.
